Our Beginning In June 2013, Calgary and High River experienced one of the most devastating natural disasters in our province’s history. The Great Flood had washed through our city forcing thousands to evacuate. The sheer magnitude of the damage is nearly impossible to describe, and this flood left all Calgarians, even those who were unaffected, shocked and awed by nature’s extreme power. We were just two professional people with experience in cleaning, but like many Calgarians, we could not just stand by while our neighbours struggled to recapture their life amidst the destruction. While so much of Calgary was filled with sorrow in the wake of the flood, our city put aside devastation for determination. We watched and worked beside our neighbours, friends, and fellow Calgarians to help clean the homes of those affected by the flood. It was our honour to volunteer our time and equipment to help clean our city. However, our hard work and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. By word of mouth, the vast network of people who were participating in restoring our city spread the news of our little team. We’d left a strong impression with those we’d helped, and they wanted everyone to know it. From our collective drive to help Calgarians facing overwhelming mess came the realization that there was a gap in the market. Calgarians needed cleaners they could trust to do the right thing and get the job done. So four months after the flood waters receded, Zanjani Cleaning Services was founded. We are a fully licensed and insured company ready to serve, clean, and make a difference.
